Goodbye August!
These intense August energies have proven to be a challenge for everyone I’ve spoken to.
Old patterns re-emerging, past hurts and upsets coming back to haunt, guilt over past actions and inaction being felt…
Remember though, the key words here are ‘old’ and ‘past’. They are all done with. You just have to make the decision to let them go.
A lot of the time when we are truly moving on, old feelings come up really strongly to make their final stand. To try to stay.
It’s sometimes easier to hold on to negative thoughts and emotions than let them go- you have to be brave to choose change: it’s the unknown. And sometimes it’s easier to stick with what you know even though you know it’s what you don’t want!

This August has given us all a great chance to recognise what, where and who is not needed anymore. Sometimes in quite a harsh manner! But we need to remember: no matter what comes up, no matter what life throws our way, we are more than capable of dealing with these situations. We never get more than we are able for- even when it feels overwhelming and too much. We just need to surrender to the change, allow it rather than fight against it and be safe in the knowledge that the positive side of the lessons will become clear- maybe not straight away but they WILL become clear.
Live in the moment and enjoy this beautiful, communal dream called life that we are all having. Be compassionate and loving to others and be compassionate and loving bo yourself.
And say goodbye to August because it’s now in the past too!! 🙂
