Embrace the darkness of New Moon and allow all of you, as you truly are in this time and space, to come fully forward.
Breathe deep. Move within.
Ask where you are holding to old beliefs, patterns, relationships and ideas that no longer serve.
Allow your shadow to be seen.
No judgments. Just honest review.
Use the energy of the New Moon to cleanse and release that which you are ready to let go of and embrace the rest.
You are not your shadow. You are not your light.
You are a beautiful mix of all you are and are not.
Embrace all you are, knowing we are all nothing and everything at once. We are all perfectly imperfect. We are all exactly where we are meant to be and how we are meant to be. There is nothing to change yet everything can be changed if you so choose.
With love and light,

Indeed Laura, tonight is considered as darkest night of the year according to local calendar, coinciding with peak south west monsoon rains in my part of the world. It is commemorated as the day for remembering one’s ancestors and acknowledging our gratitude to them, and practised as ‘pitru bali’, the ritual of feeding the souls of ancestors, performed on banks of rivers and seas during morning hours. The Vedic mantra chanted during the ritual is to acknowledge a person’s gratitude to 21 generations of his or her ancestors starting with the person’s deceased parents. It is performed on this day every year, which will vary in the Gregorian calendar. It also acknowledges one’s interconnectedness with everyone and everything, a connect that is bound to be seen going back to so many generations….🕉
