“Stepping onto a brand-new path is difficult, but not more difficult than remaining in a situation, which is not nurturing to the whole woman.” Maya Angelou

After the intense energies February brought, I am sure there are many people excited for the change in month. The spring equinox arrives at the end of March and soon, it will be very clear that spring is here. We will get to witness change, new life and growth all around us in nature- the weather, length of day, plants, animals giving birth- and hopefully, if we go with the flow of change, in all us humans too!

“Observe always that everything is the result of change, and get used to thinking that there is nothing Nature loves so well as to change existing forms and make new ones like them.”

Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

For the month of March, CHANGE is the order of each day!

Through my work and also through this blog, I get to see cycles on perhaps a broader scale than a lot of people get to. I get to see that in a day/week/month, all the emails and requests for healings will be showing similar themes. That these themes run through cycles. That the emails always, always relate to each other, despite the fact these people are from varied walks of life, are spread across the globe, have diverse aspirations and dreams, are working in vastly different fields to each other- and to me.

It is such a blessing to gain this vantage point.

When we can see that we are constantly moving through cycles, we see that we are never ‘stuck’. That when a challenging time is occurring, we have knowledge- beyond hope- that it will pass. It is just a cycle- something that comes and will go.

This knowledge makes it easier to not get too bogged in the emotion of these times. It can give us the ability to detach from the emotional turmoil and see these times as exciting opportunities for change. To see them as a time to let go of old, limiting emotions and beliefs in order to create space within for positive changes.

As I spoke of on Thursday, my own realisation in February related to what I see as my biggest vulnerability and how I am facing that fear.

“If you love deeply, you’re going to get hurt badly. But it’s still worth it.”

C.S. Lewis

Allowing ourselves to be vulnerable is essential to making a change of any kind. We need to be open- open to seeing that which is holding us back, to owning and embracing all parts of ourselves, open to taking a misstep, to seeing where we can improve, to letting go of emotions and thoughts that no longer serve us, to feel where the winds of change want to take us. And then action those changes.

This is a wonderful TED TV talk all about being vulnerable. I have watched this a number of times since it was first posted. I find Brené Brown extremely witty and relatable in her delivery, and have gained much inspiration from her.

“Vulnerability is the only authentic state. Being vulnerable means being open, for wounding, but also for pleasure. Being open to the wounds of life means also being open to the bounty and beauty. Don’t mask or deny your vulnerability: it is your greatest asset. Be vulnerable: quake and shake in your boots with it. The new goodness that is coming to you, in the form of people, situations, and things can only come to you when you are vulnerable, i.e. open.”

Stephen Russell, Barefoot Doctor’s Guide to the Tao: A Spiritual Handbook for the Urban Warrior

The energetic theme for March is change. Be courageous and allow yourself to be in flow with this energy. Know that many other people are feeling this huge drive forward. You are not alone. You are in perfect harmony with the cycles. Be in harmony with your Self and go with this flow!

With love and light,

In keeping with the energy of change, I have changed up my blog again. In addition to the weekly posts, I will also post poems/quotes/videos/music that relate to the theme of the month, on Sundays and Thursdays. A number of clients had mentioned that they liked those sections on my lothlauraien blog, so I hope they are of interest and increase the flow of positivity in your world!x
