“The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff.
We are a way for the universe to know itself.”
Carl Sagan
Finding your balance can be a challenge at any time but the energies we’ve encountered so far in April have made it a Super-Challenge!
It requires discipline to stay balanced when everyone and everything around you is shifting- when you yourself are shifting! We need to make sure our well-being routine is the top of our priority list at this ‘Rebirthing’ time.
It is so important to take the time to be still and to check-in with yourself, for at least a few minutes, twice a day. We can take the opportunity to find inspiration in April’s namesake- Aphrodite- and bring that into our daily practice.
Aphrodite is the goddess of love, beauty and procreation. Her Roman counterpart being Venus, there is of course also the association with the planet Venus.
Venus is the third brightest object in the sky after the sun and moon and is truly beaming bright in our night sky this month. We had an amazing display on Saturday when she was close to the Pleiades star cluster and Venus will also be close to the waxing crescent moon over the next few days, 21st April being the closest.
Take the time to go out at night and look up. Acknowledge the amazing and wondrous movements of the planets and moon across the sky. Acknowledge the amazing little lights that shine and twinkle every single night across the sky.
A meditation on the beauty and love that you are, through star-gazing:
To tune into your body, mind and spirit, and to send yourself love every day is vital. Our true nature is love. We are all beautiful, bright, shining stars.
I hope you enjoy this star-gazing meditation and allow yourself lots of time to relish floating amongst the stars!
With love and light,
Laura.x
