Majora Carter: Greening the Ghetto

What an incredibly inspiring and amazing woman! This is one of my all-time favourite TED talks. Majora Carter speaks about the green urban regeneration she is participating in across the US.

“We have nothing to lose and everything to gain”

This talk is highly inspiring from a woman who absolutely embodies the qualities of rebirth, renewal and resurrection. I can’t say enough about how much this one touched me- do watch!!

And watch out for the hilarious line “It’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission” in between needing tissues to wipe sad tears away!
