I love this quote from Albert Einstein. I actually love everything I’ve ever read from him!
I am currently reading The World As I See It which is a collection of his beautiful essays. They are filling me with inspiration and also great hope for this world and my place in it.
Likewise, they’ve made me feel an immense gratitude towards him for writing these thoughtful, thought-provoking and humanity-filled thoughts.
I am someone with a ‘logical’ brain that likes to ‘scientifically’ understand my world around me but I passionately know Truth is so much more than that which we can study and quantify.
He is one of the- and arguably THE- greatest scientist the world has ever seen. These essays show us that scientific and logical thinking does not exclude the concept there is an unseen energy too great for us to fully understand, moving around and animating every moment of our lives. They in fact show that he had great belief in this power.
This month’s theme is Thought Creates Reality. In his words:
“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”
Albert Einstein
So take the time to question your thinking this month. Question your thoughts, patterns, beliefs, emotions and actions.
With all the negative news being rammed into our brains this week, we really need to hold true to what we want to see in the world. Hold to the knowledge that we have the power to block out a narrative being fed to us and see the truth behind the lies. See the love instead of the hate.
Question the narrative being imposed on you.
Question your thoughts and grandiose statement of ‘facts’.
Question your programming- ACKNOWLEDGE your programming!
We can be discerning. We can choose not to use our anger for hate and aggression but as a fuel to power forward POSITIVE change.
As I said last week:
Thought creates reality. Get rid of others’ thinking and find your own. Find your way to living your life free of the tyranny of other people’s thoughts, beliefs and patterns. Create your utopia on this earth. It IS possible. People who say otherwise are fearful- you don’t have to be.
As Bob Dylan said simply yet powerfully:
“Act the way you’d like to be and soon you’ll be the way you’d like to act.”
Bob Dylan
If we all wanted to be non-judgmental, beautifully tolerant, light-filled beings, we could! It is as simple as choosing to be that way and then BEING THAT WAY!!
Maybe it’s not possible right now for those who say that that thought is wishful thinking. But for the rest of us- and I know there are MANY of us- we can be the change right here, right now. And when we reach the tipping point, that chain reaction of positive change on a large-scale will happen. That’s just science! 🙂
What a place that would be! That’s a collective consciousness I’d be willing to be a part of!!
“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”
Albert Einstein
Follow the lead of Einstein, one of the greatest minds- and humans (from what I’ve read so far!!), the world has seen.
Change your thinking. Live a life of beauty, light and grace. Set off the chain reaction around you.
“Be the change you wish to see in the world” and you create the world you wish to see.
With love and light,

Hi Laura,
What an inspiring article. Thank you.
I am going to share it with some friends.
cheers
Brian
p.s. I never would’ve connected Bob Dylan and Albert!
Thank you Brian! I really appreciate that. And haha. I feel like ANYONE could be connected to Albert as I am reading more about him- such an insanely interesting and inspiring man! Hope 2015 is going great for you!
I’m a believer of this. All the reality, the mind first conceives. So powerful are our thoughts!
